About Jurf Sakhar
Jurf Al Nasr or previously known as Jurf Al Sakhar till overdue 2014 and its reconquest by using the Iraqi Government forces from the neo-Baathist-supported ISIL forces – also spelled Jurf al-Sakhar is a small town in Iraq, positioned approximately 60 kilometers southwest of Baghdad. It is near Musayyib and about eighty kilometers east of Fallujah. At the start of 2014, it had about 89,000 human beings, usually Sunni Muslims from the Al-Janabi tribe. Ever for the reason that Sunni Arab population of the town and surrounding countryside had been made to go away after the retaking of the town from ISIL.
The former residents at the moment are largely refugees in Fallujah, Yusofiyya, Al Musayyib. Due to its high strategic location on the principle methods to the Shia holy metropolis of Karbala from Fallujah, it is doubtful that any Sunni citizens can be allowed back into Jurf within the future. At Jurf Al Sakhar become a large military complex such as the Al Hakum facility, at one time Iraq's most sophisticated and biggest biological weapons BW manufacturing manufacturing unit.
