About as-Samawah
Samawah or As-Samawah is a metropolis in Iraq, 280 kilometres southeast of Baghdad. The city of Samawah is the cutting-edge capital of the Al Muthanna Governorate. The metropolis is positioned halfway between Baghdad and Basra, at the northern fringe of the governorate. The province was installed in 1975; previous to that date it turned into a unified province along with Qadissiya and Najaf.
