Vakil Bazaar

Vakil Bazaar is the main bazaar of Shiraz, Iran, located in the historical center of the city. It is imagined that the market initially was set up by the Buwayhids in the eleventh century AD, and was finished for the most part by the Atabaks of Fars, and was renamed after Karim Khan Zand just in the eighteenth century. The bazaar has delightful yards, caravansarais, shower houses, and old shops which are considered among the best places in Shiraz to purchase a wide range of Persian mats, flavors, copper crafted works and collectibles. Like other Middle Eastern bazaars, there are a couple of mosques and Imamzadehs built close to or behind the bazaar.
