Tabiat Bridge

The Tabiat Bridge is the largest pedestrian overpass built in Tehran, Iran. The 270-metre 890 ft bridge connects two public parks Taleghani Park and Abo-Atash Park by spanning Modarres Expressway, one of the main highways in northern Tehran. The word tabiat signifies "nature" in the Persian dialect. The extension was composed by Leila Araghian and Alireza Behzadi/Diba Tensile Architecture. It has won a few honors, including the Popular Choice Prize for Highways and Bridges from the Architizer A+ Awards, a worldwide structural rivalry situated in New York, and the 2016 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

Tabiat Bridge was outlined by Leila Araghian as a feature of a neighborhood rivalry for the plan of an extension to associate two stops in north Tehran which were isolated by a roadway. In planning the extension, a procedure which took an aggregate of multi year, Araghian needed it to "be a place for individuals to stay and contemplate, not just go." To accomplish this the scaffold isn't straight and contains seats and seating.
