About Mount Kawi

On the base of the rich green stream valley lies the most established and even the biggest old landmarks of Bali, Mount Kawi which is otherwise called Gunung Kawi. Mount Kawi involves 10 candi or holy places i.e. dedications that have been cut out of the substance of the stone in the impersonation of genuine statues. With a remarkable stature of 8 meter, Mount Kawi ensures the specialties that are cut into the sheer bluff face.

Towards the northern peripheries of the town, the view is glorious as you go for a walk through the old terraced rice fields which are similarly as perfect as some other in Bali. To achieve the highest point of the landmark, you'll need to move more than 270 stages. Mount Kawi is situated in Tampaksiring, north east of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia.
