Jogja National Museum

Jogja national Museum is one place where artists can express their discourse or in other words is a pocket of arts and cultural activities that conceptualized as public and legal space. Jogja National Museum stands under the auspices of Yayasan Yogyakarta Seni Nusantara a non-profit foundation specialized in the field of conservation and development of art and culture.By occupying the building which used to be the building of Akademi Seni Rupa Indonesia which used this building until 1950 then used by Faculty of Art and Design until 1984 and as the forerunner of art institute of Indonesia or ISI Yogyakarta. After the existence of Institut Seni Indonesia has an integrated campus on Jl. Parangtritis Sewon, Bantul then the existence of the building mangkrak not neglected again.
