Aceh State Museum, prevalently known as Aceh Museum or Banda Aceh Museum is a historical center in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. It is one of the most seasoned exhibition hall in Indonesia. The first working of the Aceh Museum was as a conventional Acehnese arrange house. This building was initially utilized as the Aceh Pavilion in the ground of De Koloniale Tentoonsteling in Semarang from August 13 to November 15, 1914. The unique goal was that the stage house would be disassembled and moved to the Netherlands. The structure displayed Acehnese ancient rarities, the majority of them are private accumulation of the ethnographer Friedrich Stammeshaus, which in 1915 turned into the primary custodian of the Museum of Aceh.

Stammeshaus remained a custodian of the historical center until 1933.
