About Water reservoir

The need to build a water reservoir in Namchi grew from the increasing tourism in the area. The locals feared that the tourists would stay at different places and not visit Namchi due to water shortage. Therefore, the state government sanctioned money to be utilized in the building water reservoirs.

The water reservoir is a water tank built to fulfill the needs of the locals as well as the tourists. Located at a height, it is a reservoir one must visit.
