About Vishwa Shanti Stupa

A Buddhist stupa in Rajgir, the Vishwa Shanti Stupa is a famous attraction in the city, atop the Ratnagiri Hills, at an elevation of 100 feet. Historically, it has been told that Lord Buddha delivered many of teachings in this place.

The peace pagoda is constructed by the Buddhist community from Japan, as a part of their objective to pay tribute to Lord Buddha and spread his message of non violence in the world.

One can see the chair lift ariel rope way in the Stupa which takes the visitors on top of the hill and vice versa. The journey of Ropeway takes about 20 minutes.
