Vettaikaranpudur is a panchayat town in Coimbatore region in the Indian province of Tamil Nadu. It is found 16 kilometers 9.9 mi from Pollachi while in transit to Topslip. The town has a populace of 17,392 according to 2011 statistics and the economy is subject to farming with significant products being rice, sugarcane and coconut. Organization of the town is through the Panchayat with training given by an elementary school and a secondary school.
Sanctuary and Samadhi of holy person Alukku Sidhar is situated in this town.
