About Try Bamboo Rafting in Periyar

Bamboo rafting a paradise for nature’s lover. The raft travels to the catchment area of the Periyar Reserve, one of India's richest biodiversity hotspots. The exclusive bamboo raft is made of bamboo stems tied together and are actually used by the tribal in the sanctuary. Prior booking of trips can accompany you through the forest. Tiger trail, camp site & submerged tree are the main attractions. The submerged trees are said to be still alive for about 116 years below the water level.
