About Tipu Sultans Fort
Tipu Sultan's Fort, also called Tashk-e-Jannat, meaning Heaven’s Envy, is one of the frequented web sites on the destination. Constructed equal to Dariya Daulat, Srirangapatna, and the fortress stands atop the hill at an elevation of 4,851 ft above sea level. Highlighting features of the castle are 5 arches with minarets, showing beautiful artwork and structure of historic era. Built in 1791 with the aid of Chikballapur chieftains, the citadel sprawls over a place of 90 acre.
The stunning palace, which is now closed for public, became without delay the summer time palace of Tipu Sultan. Moreover, walls and ceilings of the castle are engraved with paintings. Elaborately graved towers and archways of the forts draw attention of tourists.
