About Tharpa Choling Monastery

Tharpa Choling Monastery is roosted on the mount of Tirpai Hills. Built up by Buddhist order, Gelupka in 1937, it is one of the initial three religious communities developed in Kalimpong. Prominently known as yellow-cap, this cloister additionally offers excellent perspective of the Himalayan extents. A standout amongst the best areas for contemplation in Kalimpong, the religious community allures a few Buddhist priests and lovers.
