Thalner

Thalner, situated on the River Tapi, is considered as the main capital of the Faruqi Kings. Arranged in the tehsil of Shirpur, this place is around 46.67 km toward the north-east of Dhule town. Thalner is accepted to be named after the antiquated sanctuary of Thaleshwar, which is arranged on the shores of the Tapi River.

Thalner Fort is encompassed by an empty route from the three sides and the fourth side ascending out of the Tapi River. This empty way has a width going from 91.44 to 137.16 meters. The dividers lying over this empty way have a tallness of around 18.28 meters. Voyagers can enter this fortress from the eastern side, which is accepted to be secured by five progressive entryways. Just a unimportant bit of the strongholds of the fortress are situated on the stream side. It is trusted that one of the bastions was wrecked by a surge expedited by the Tapi River.
