About Tantea Tea Museum

As the name suggests, TANTEA is a tea producing company which is quite famous for its production of black tea. TANTEA means Tamilnadu Tea Plantation Corporation Limited which is an undertaking under the state government. This has a long history as this was established in the year of 1968.

Producing over 4500ha, TANTEA is the biggest producer of black tea in India. Boasting of nearly 9000 employees this is one of the most impressive tea manufacturing company. This is the best place to visit if you love tea. The aroma which this factory has is just beautiful.
