St Thomas Shrine

St. Thomas Church otherwise called Mar Thoma Pontifical Shrine is known as the origination of the Christianity in India. It's a well known Christian place of worship arranged at Azhikode, a couple of km far from Kodungallur town. The fundamental hugeness of this congregation is that it is one of the seven chapels that have been established by St.Thomas and clearly the first. The congregation has been based on the year 1953 and the congregation today holds the relic of St.Thomas - a bone from his arm.The relic of St.Thomas was purchased from Italy.
