Soro

Soro is a town and a municipality in Balasore district in the Indian state of Odisha. It is around 181 km from the capital of the state Bhubaneswar and 35 km from the area home office Balasore. Situated on NH-16, the town is found halfway among Balasore and Bhadrak towns. Soro alongside neighboring towns contributes fundamentally towards the economy of Balasore area. The Soro Municipality administers and oversees city foundation for the town's 19 wards.

Occupants of each ward choose a councilor to the Soro Municipality for a five-year term.
