About Solang Valley

As the name suggests, Solang Nala or popularly known as Solang valley is the most sought-after destination in Manali. Solang valley derived its name from the combination of two words namely Solang and nullah. Solang means nearby village and nullah means water stream.

Solang valley stands true to its name. It’s quite famous for recreational activities like zorbing, paragliding, parachuting, and skiing. This picturesque valley is situated in Manali. This valley is every adventure lover’s paradise. Coming to the climate, the snow in here melts during the summer months and due to this skiing is replaced by zorbing. So one cannot take part in each and every recreational activity which Solang valley offers as the activities which take place in here changes according to the season.

Apart from recreational activities, Solang valley offers a mesmerizing view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains. One can compare the snow-capped mountain with that of a vanilla ice-cream. The best time to visit this paradise is between the months of December to February.
