About Shivlinga

Shivlinga, additionally referred to as Badava Linga, is a monolithic monument this is carved out of a single black stone. Situated in Hampi, this Shivlinga is three m in top. Locals consider that the Shivlinga turned into carved by using a terrible female whose desires had been fulfilled via Lord Shiva. The beautifully carved linga has 3 eyes comparable to the 3 eyes of Lord Shiva.

It is positioned in a chamber opened at the front facet. A water channel has been made to go with the flow through the inner chamber usually maintaining the level of water complete.
