Sher Shah Suri Tomb

The Sher Shah tomb is situated in Sasa ram district of Bihar. The construction of this tomb was commenced by Sher Shah, and completed by his son and successor Islam Shah, 3 months after his death.

The temple is a fine example of the medieval architecture, made of fine sandstone. The tomb of Sher Shah lies in the middle of the excavated Lake. The structure is surrounded by all sides with large stone stairways leading to water of the excavated Lake.
