About Shahid Tatya Tope Smarak

Tatya Tope Memorial is a dedication set down in recognition of the protracted fight for flexibility in India. The frontier history of India is inked with the blood of numerous magnanimous saints. Ramachandra Pandurang Tope, prevalently known as Tatya Tope, an overcome opportunity warrior and an Indian Maratha pioneer in the 1857 Uprising lost his life in the fight for Indian Independence.

He is known to have helped Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi in the catch of Gwalior from the English pilgrim rulers. Sold out by Raja of Narwar Man Singh, a confided in companion, the man was caught and executed in Shivpuri on the eighteenth of April 1859. Tatya Tope opposed the provincial rulers since his dad was denied annuity he legitimately merited.
