About Shah Ganj Masjid

The Shah Ganj Masjid proves to be a visual deals. Situated in Aurangabad, the mosque is perched on an expanded platform, with shops on three of its aspects. The fourth one opens to a flight of steps. The mosque is styled in Indo-Saracenic structure. 24 pillars make the interior, 6 of that are arranged in a square shape. The courtyard inside the front includes two massive water tanks.
The front resembles a bit mosque with a pointed archway and two towers. A huge mosque, commemorated to be one of the very fine in India, the Shahganj Masjid is subsequent to the top notch market square in Aurangabad. Constructed of pillars, arches and domes, the mosque is cut up onto a mezzanine, presenting a view of the courtyard and the two water tanks beneath. The walls and roofs of carved stones are decorated with elephants angels and religious figures, the whole lot in a grand scale.
