Science and Technology Museum

Established in 1984, Kerala Science and Technology Museum is an autonomous organisation, set up by the Government of Kerala, to serve as a dynamic medium of science communication for the public and for inculcating a sense of inquiry and scientific temperament in the minds of the youngsters. Kerala Science and Technology museum displays some of the most advanced scientific gadgets, gizmos, and electronic appliances. The museum is situated near mascot hotel.

It is also a study cum recreation centre and an important tourist attraction. The organisation houses galleries on electricity, electronics, power & motion, mechanics, popular science, mathematics, solar energy as well as automobile, computer and biomedical engineering.

A well-equipped library is another attraction of this museum. Within the museum premise, there is a Play Park with thirteen playing devices which aid learning while playing which was opened in the year 2005. The museum organizes quiz competitions and science and technology awareness classes on a regular basis for students. Kerala Science and Technology museum displays the advancement and zeal of the people of Kerala in the field of science and technology. The museum draws a huge number of visitors into its chambers, especially the science enthusiasts.
