About Raja Rani temple

One of the most renowned and famous temples in Bhubaneswar is rhe Rajarani temple, built in around 10th or 11th century using reddish gold sandstone known as Rajarani from the local parlance. The temple, formerly known as Indreswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The statues inside the temple are made of red and gold sandstone, the local name of which is Rajarani. The major attractions of the temple include the finely carved figurines. The temple is an epitome of elegance and grace. The sculptural images adorning the facades and the interior look beautiful. A beautiful garden surrounds the temple, which is another attraction. The temple is amidst the swaying paddy friend, which makes it looks even more beautiful.
