About Parbhani
Parbhani is a city in Maharashtra state of India. It is the administrative headquarters of Parbhani District. Parbhani is the fourth biggest city in Marathwada area of Maharashtra after Aurangabad, Nanded and Latur. Parbhani is around 200 kilometers 120 mi far from territorial headquarter Aurangabad while it is 491 km 305 mi far from the state capital Mumbai. Alongside whole Marathwada locale, Parbhani was a piece of the recent Nizam State; later a piece of Hyderabad State; after rearrangement of states in 1956 it turned into a piece of the then Bombay state; and from 1960 onwards it is a piece of the present Maharashtra state.
Parbhani is home to Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University, which is one of just four agribusiness colleges of Maharashtra.
