Papanashi Tirth

Papanashi Tirth, literally means the water destroying the sins. It is believed that a bath in this holy water can destroy all the sins of the person. This tank also has mythological stories for the existence of this tirth. This tirth tank is situated outside the Tulja Bhawani Temple, about five hundred metres away near the circuit house.

The tank is covered by the stone structures and the water is good for bathing. It is believed that a bath in this holy water can destroy all the sins of the person. It is one of the most famous water tanks in Tuljapur. The tirth is about a half kilometer away from the main temple of Tujla Bhavani Temple.
