About Pandu Pokhar

A place is a heritage which speaks of the glorious history of Natural wealth. Spread out in an area of twenty-two acres, Pandu Pokhar is a truly magnificent example of Great India history dates back to the Mahabharata. It extracts the story of how king Pandu, the father of Pandavas attacked Rajgir or Rajgriha and converted the place into a horse stable.

Legends says, that when the king was left with this place, a swale was created and later rain water accumulated in the swale and that is how the historical Pandu Pokhar or pond came into existence. The place is at its best with natural surroundings which unwind and relax the mind of every individual visiting the place.Apart from its natural beauty the place provides activities like boating and many more. the area also inhabits many small rides for the kids.The place by far is an amazing weekend to spend with family or friends.
