About Old Naini Bridge

The Old Naini Bridge is one of the longest and oldest bridges in India, positioned in Prayagraj. It is a double-decked metal truss bridge which runs throughout the Yamuna river in the southern a part of the metropolis. The bridge runs North-South across the Yamuna river connecting the town of Prayagraj to its community of Naini. It boasts functionality of roadways and railways simultaneously. Upper deck has a two lane railway line which connects Naini Junction railway station to Allahabad Junction railway station, at the same time as the lower deck has effectively been facicilating roadway offerings since 1927.
