Old Gokul Mahavan

Mahavan is the woodlands of Vraja organized 6 miles east of Mathura. It is also called Brihadvan as it is greatest among each one of the forests of Vraja. Mahavan is generally called Gokul or from time to time Gokul Mahavan in light of the way this is where there is the Go dairy animals, the Gopas and the Gopis. The primary spot of Nanda Maharaj, Nanda Bhawan is still there in Mahavan. One can take the darshan of Krishna and Yogamaya in the asylum in Nanda Bhawan.
