About Observatory Hill View Point

Observatory Hill View Point, this vicinity on a hill pinnacle is one of the finest spots in Darjeeling to take a look at the panoramic perspectives of the mountains and it also has a temple at the summit referred to as the Mahakal Temple. The Observatory Hill is positioned at the Mall area and is encircled at its bottom by way of the Mall Road. As you stroll along the Mall avenue, you may see this steep hill rising on one side. However, it is no longer too high.

It takes about 15 mins of uphill stroll to reach to the top. While the walk can be tiring, the rewards are superb. As you are taking the Mall road from the proper aspect of Chowrasta Mall, approximately 100 yards away you will discover flights of stairs that lead closer to the Observatory Hill and the Mahakal Temple. There is a large signboard indicating the pathway. Soon after few flights of stairs, a steep uphill slim avenue begins that is going all the way to the top. Older humans may not locate it easy to climb the stretch.
