Nanpara is a town in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated close to the Nepal border. A dense tract of forest covers most of the area. Rich in wildlife and natural beauty, Nanpara is most frequented by nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
The forests of Nanpara are rich in flora and fauna. There is a bird sanctuary which is very popular with bird-watchers and ornithologists. At a distance of 100 kilometers, lies Dudhwa which houses a well-known national park. The Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary in Dudhwa has been recognized as the second most popular tiger-reserve in the country. The dense Terai jungles and lush green grasslands of Nanpara are full of life.
