About Nalknad Palace
Nalknad Palace or Nalkunadu called Naalnaad Aremane in the neighborhood Kodava dialect, is a castle situated in the Kodagu region of the Indian province of Karnataka. It is situated almost a town named Yavakapadi and was worked between the years 1792 and 1794 AD. This royal residence was the last asylum of the remainder of the Haleri rulers of Kodagu, Chikka Veerarajendra before he was dismissed by the British. The Kannada film Shanti, which has just a solitary on-screen character, was shot in the surroundings of the palace. The rulers were sent to live in a post at Gorur in Hassan area. Visitors come to visit this place with their friends and family members.
