Mawlyngbna

Mawlyngbna is located at a distance of 25 km from the village of Mawsynram. This is a hidden gem in the state of Meghalaya. It is famous for its rich fossils and natural geysers.

The scenic village is located on a hilltop. It is surrounded by beautiful hills, rushing streams, waterfalls, caves and natural hot springs. The plains of Bangladesh lie below the rolling Khasi Hills. There are a number of picturesque waterfalls among which the most notable ones are Um Diengkain and Ar Phalat waterfalls. The place offers a variety of tourist activities such as trekking through the forest, kayaking, fishing and camping.
