Lower Fort

The eastern base of the slope is the lower fort, which is estimated about a large portion of a mile long including a dormitory and an arsenal. The lower stronghold with its numerous bastions is encompassed by fortresses and profound trenches. The lower fortress can be entered by means of two entryways on the eastern and the western side of the stronghold.

A sanctuary directed by God Hanuman, named the Kote Anjaneya Temple is found simply outside the eastern entryway. Later on, British have manufactured a Protestant Church, Commissariat stores, Masonic hotel, numerous private living arrangements, halfway houses and Post-Office. Right now, the lower post incorporates ious government workplaces, chapels, instructive organizations and open structures.
