Ligmala Falls

The Ligmala Falls is located at the top of Venna Valley in Satara district of Maharashtra. The falls is formed by Venna River. The falls has two falls, one miniature in structure and another the main waterfall from a height of five hundred feet.

The best time of the place to visit the fall is the monsoon time; July to October is perhaps the best time to see the waterfall to its peak with the majestic view. The place is very famous where about one thousand tourists the place at every year.

The place inhabits with a lot of fauna and flora. One can see the lots of beautiful birds and of various greenery which make the place to seem in the fullest. The way to the fall is the major enthralling part as it surrounds with many vegetation and scenic beauty. Trekking is the only way to reach the place. The opening time of the place is at 8am and closing time is at 4:30 pm.
