About Lighthouse Beach

Lighthouse beach The Kovalam beach is stretched across the Malabar coast and is divided into 3 beaches known as the lighthouse beach, Samudra beach, and the Hawah beach. The lighthouse beach is the most popular spots of Kovalam.

The 35m lighthouse will give you a spectacular view from the top. The lighthouse is designed with striped red and white print. It stands on top of the rocky corals of the beach. The entry fees are also within budget which ranges from Rs 10 for adults and Rs 3 for children. The place remains open for all the days.

The lighthouse stands tall in the southernmost point of the beach and there is an observatory from where one can see the spectacular view. To reach the topmost part of the beach you will have to climb up almost 142 steps.
