About Kulpahar
Kulpahar is a city in Mahoba region in the Indian territory of Uttar Pradesh. It is an authentic town in the Bundelkhand locale. Before 11 Feb 1995 Kulpahar was a Tehsil of Hamirpur District. On 11 Feb 1995 Mahoba District was cut out of Hamirpur, and Kulpahar is currently a piece of the Mahoba District. Kulpahar is the biggest Subdivision of Uttar Pradesh. Kulpahar is known for its closeness to Khajuraho and other notable spots like Mahoba, Charkhari, Kalinjar Rath, Orchha, and Jhansi. This town holds relics of sanctuaries and man-made water collections of the Chandela Dynasty.
All the real Indian festivals are celebrated here. The longest of them is celebration of Navratra and Dussera. It is a 10-day-long celebration and symbols of goddess Durga are put in numerous spots and day-night long festivals proceeds. The celebration closes with the drenching of the icons in bara tal lake. Other significant celebrations are Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas and Raksha bandhan. In the long stretch of August and September well known reasonable of Jalvihar is sorted out in the city.
