About Khuri

Khuli is a tiny village about 50 km south west of Jaisalmer, known for its sand dunes. Khuri, even though a close rival to the Sam sand dunes, is less crowded and a peaceful experience.

Khuri is slowly developing into a tourist spot and there are signs of development in the village too. A night spent in the village offers a peaceful star gazing experience. The alluring bonfires accompanied with the folk song and Kalbeliya dance routines entice the visitors. The arrangement of camel races and camel Polo is also done for the visitors. Idling, partaking of Rajasthani meals, watching sunrises and sunsets from the sand dunes, birdwatching etc are the activities one can take part in.
