Khaspur

Khaspur is a quaint village, situated at a distance of 20 kilometers from Silchar. The place has its unique history. It houses the ruins of the great Dimasa Kingdom which existed here years ago.

Hardly anything remains of the King’s Palace, but there are small structures which still stand tall. The main entrance gate, Suryadwar and Debalaya are in a better state. The main attractions are the king’s temple, Lion Gate and the Sun Gate. Khaspur, with its beautiful old world charm, will transport you into a different era in history.
