About Kashi Vishwanath Temple

This temple is a standout amongst the most renowned Hindu sanctuaries committed to Lord Shiva. The sanctuary remains on the western bank of the heavenly waterway Ganga, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest of Shiva sanctuaries. The fundamental god is known by the name Vishvanatha meaning Ruler of The Universe. Varanasi city is likewise called Kashi, and subsequently the sanctuary is prominently called Kashi Vishvanath Temple. The sanctuary has been alluded to in Hindu sacred writings for quite a while as a focal piece of love in the Shaiva rationality. It has been obliterated and re-built ious circumstances ever.
