About Karuna Stupa

The Karuna Stupa is arranged in the heart of Patna, Bihar . The focal fascination of Buddha Smriti stop is the Stupa, known as Patliputra Karuna Stupa which is 200 feet high and is arranged amidst the recreation center. The Stupa contains the relics of Buddha, one among the eight unique relic unearthed from Vaishali, secured in a glass walled in area, where a minor brilliant statue of the sitting Buddha is kept alongside the pot containing the relic .

The relics brought from ious nations are placed in independent coffins inside the glass case. The sacred relics was brought by His Holiness Dalai Lama and the priests from Thailand, Myanmar, Japan, South Korea and Sri Lanka. The vault ascends high in the sky and give a great perspective of the recreation center. Round ways around the stupa for parikrama have been given at three distinct levels that prompt the most abnormal amount of the building.
