Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary

The Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary is a wooded area placed in Visakhapatnam. It is underneath the control of Andhra Pradesh Forest Department seeing that 10 March 1970. Earlier the land became under the manipulate of Maharajah of Vizianagaram. It turned into named after the neighborhood hillock Kambalakonda. It is a dry evergreen woodland combined with scrub and meadows and covers an area of 70.70 rectangular kilometers. You can come here and explore this place.

The area corresponds to an area west of National Highway 16 at the northern side of Visakhapatnam and Pendurthi in Visakhapatnam district. It may be reached by using avenue approximately 3 km from Visakhapatnam, contrary to zoo park. The sanctuary has a dry evergreen wooded area mixed with scrub and meadows. The terrain is hilly with steep slopes. Flora: There is numerous vegetation and fauna in this sanctuary representing the Eastern Ghats. This is the great area to visit in Visakhapatnam.
