About Jhansi Museum

Jhansi is one of the most popular place, the popularity fetched by some historical episodes. This was the place where Jhansi ki Rani Laxmibhai fought the war for freedom where her bravery got popularity all through. The Jhansi Museum which is located in Jhansi Fort which sketches the whole history of Jhansi. The life of Chandela dynasty is beautifully presented here. Weapons, Statues, dresses and pictures of the dynasty is kept here.

Besides there is a picture gallery dedicated to Gupta Period. One gets glimpses like those of numerous terracotta, bronzes, manuscripts, coins etc. is presented here which attract tourists all over. Weapons used by rani Laxmibhai is also found here. The place is of great importance in Jhansi and gain popularity with vigor. One must visit the place to experience and acknowledge themselves through the chapters from the history.
