Jawahar Ghat is situated behind the Thalassery Fort and is located at a distance of around 2 km from the destination. During the freedom conflict of India, the ghat served as a assembly factor of hundreds of revolutionaries. Under the British rule, meetings and rallies have been banned at the seaside.
