About Jamuria
Jamuria is the North-Eastern neighborhood in Asansol, in Asansol Sadar subdivision of Paschim Bardhaman locale in the Indian province of West Bengal. Asansol is made out of undulating laterite district. This zone lies between two waterways – the Damodar and the Ajay. They stream relatively parallel to one another in the district – the normal separation between the two waterways is around 30 km. Singaran, a little stream around 35 km long has its root close Ikra in the Jamuria territory, streams past Topsi and Andal and joins the Damodar close Waria. Starting at 2001 India census, Jamuria had a populace of 129,456. Guys establish 53% of the populace and females 47%. Jamuria has a normal proficiency rate of 58%, lower than the national normal of 59.5%: male education is 67%, and female education is 47%. In Jamuria, 14% of the populace is under 6 years old.
