About Jalavihar WaterPark

Jalavihar is a waterpark positioned in Hyderabad, Telangana, inside a place of approximately 12.5 acres. Located beside Sanjeevaiah Park and alongside the Hussain Sagar lake, the park became inaugurated on 20 May 2007. R. J. Rao, a non-resident Indian, and a group of people funded the 220 million in a public-personal partnership version with the local tourism department. The department sanctioned a land of 12.5 acres on the Necklace Road abutting the Hussain Sagar lake for this project.

Although the land become allocated through the neighborhood government headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2000, the work become stalled because of issues with land encroachment and ownership. Further to this, a probe became initiated by way of the local government at the method of allocation of projects. India's apex court gave the pass ahead to the project in mid-2006 on the basis of sanction of the neighborhood pollutants control board and the nearby high court docket.
