About Islamnagar
Islamnagar is a town in the Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated in the Huzur tehsil and the Phanda block. Formerly a braced city, Islamnagar was the capital of the Bhopal regal state for a short period. The vestiges of the royal residences worked by Bhopal's author Dost Mohammad Khan still exist at the site.
Initially known as Jagadishpur, the place was established by the neighborhood Rajput chieftains. In the mid eighteenth century, the place was caught and renamed to Islamnagar "city of Islam" by Dost Mohammad Khan, the author of the Bhopal august state. Islamnagar was the first capital of the Dost Mohammad Khan's state. A few individuals from the regal group of Bhopal, including Shah Jahan Begum, were conceived in Islamnagar.
