About Hoshang Shah Tomb

In the city which is considered ideal for exploring the history and culture of India, one can explore all tombs, starting from the first tomb that involved Afghan culture in the art and sculpture of ancient India. The Hoshang Shah Tomb is the first marble tomb in India.

It is made of marble. It was built in the honor of Hoshang Shah, who holds quite a significant position in the history of India. The tomb was constructed in the 15th century. It has the Afghani architecture style. The monument has well balanced dome with marble work. The adornments on the southern doorway portray the Lotus and the blue enamel stars.
