Hingoli

Hingoli is a small city and a municipal council in Hingoli district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Marathwada was at first under Nizam's administration. Hingoli was the taluka of Parbhani locale and part of Nizam's administration. It was Nizam's army installation as it was outskirt put with Vidarbha. In that period military troops, healing centers, veterinary clinic were in activity from Hingoli.

Inhabitants of Hingoli had encountered two major wars between Tipu Sultan and Maratha in 1803 and in 1857 among Nagpurkar and Bhosale. Being an army installation the city was one of the vital and well known place of the Hydrabad State. A portion of the names like Paltan, Risala, Tophkhana, Pensionpura, Sadar Bazaar are well known today. In the 1956, post freedom when the state were reproduced Marathwada was connected to Mumbai State and in 1960 Hingoli turned out to be a piece of the Maharashtra State as a major aspect of Parbhani locale.

Later on 1 May 1999 Hingoli locale appeared by division of Parbhani. Hingoli is all around associated by street and rail. The closest residential air terminal is in Nanded 80 km which fills in as a typical air terminal for Nanded, Parbhani and Hingoli areas. Directly there are no business flights to and from Nanded.
