Gurugram

Gurugram or popularly known as Gurgoan is a city lies in the southeastern part of the capital of India New Delhi. The place is renowned for its financial and technological evolvement. Etymologically the place got its significance after the revered teacher Dronacharya from Mahabaharata. The place got its historical significance as it is believed that the Guru or the teacher Dronacharya gifted the place to his pals namely the Pandavas and Kauravas and provided the spiritual instruction to the same.

Although the place is of industrial significance and a commercial site but nevertheless the place also attracts tourists and visitors of many other renowned places like those of the Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary for all who are bird lovers, Damdama Lake, Sheetal Devi Temple etc.
